I am a professional, award-winning and genuinely passionate Maternity, Newborn and boudoir photographer based in Pimpama on the Gold Coast in Queensland, with years of experience capturing life’s most precious & ever-changing moments.
I am very down-to-earth and go above and beyond to create a relaxed, warm and fun vibe at all of my photoshoots. I live and breathe little people, with two of my own (a lovable, crazy mini-me born in July 2019, and a squishy, snuggly boy born in late August 2021) and I have over 10 years of experience in early education (Including a diploma!). So to say I am passionate about children is an understatement.
I work in a very collaborative fashion to help conceptualize themes that translate beautifully to film and produce highly personalized photos & memories to pass down through the generations. Steph is a very talented, kind, professional and amazing photographer. I was very hesitant at first to whether or not have a maternity shoot. I wanted to find a photographer who’s accomodating, patient and compassionate. I’m so grateful I found Steph. As an expectant mum, I don’t normally feel at my best especially being in front of the camera and I fear that it would be such a stressful and humiliating experience for me. But Steph made me feel so welcome. From choosing the theme and outfit, she had been very pleasant and considerate. She made me feel comfortable and helped me boost that confidence I needed for the shoot.

Very accomodating, comfortable and kind. Stephanie was incredible as a business woman but even more so as a person. Very down to earth and relatable. Stephanie was so patient as my toddler is at a very clingy stage and tears were shed (a lot), but Stephanie busted out the wiggle tunes and encouraged her to be her little helper. It can be so hard to find time to relax in between pregnancy and toddlerhood but in between the chaos I was able to feel empowered and really soak in what is such a beautiful moment of motherhood. As a third time mommy I knew that I wanted to capture the first precious moments of our newest addition however time marched on and before I knew it our newborn was 3 weeks old. I started my hunt for the perfect photographer but found that most newborn photographers require that this is done before the baby is 14days old. Steph responded to my email almost immediately and followed this up with a text message to get this booked in soonest. She was accommodating at every hurdle from squeezing us in the next day, to scheduling the shoot over two sessions to accomodate my husbands work schedule, and working around our routine as a young family. I’m not sure where I start with Steph but she blows my mind. The most easiest lady to communicate with and is truely the most helpful in anyway shape or form with every question you have! I have now done 3 shoots with Steph including with my children and it was just so easy and she made me feel confident and good about myself at the same time. The studio is absolutely beautiful, so big, so many options of back drops to client closet (it’s insane) and accessories. My children felt so comfortable as did I and my partner around her. I have been disappointed ALOT in the past with trying to find a good and reliable photographer but unfortunately they all let me down. Steph has done nothing but been amazing! Never mind her work is PHENOMENAL. I had a lil tear after what I saw she has now been able to give me to treasure for life. Thank you Steph, I will forever recommend you and I now have a life long photographer.

Steph went ABOVE AND BEYOND for me AND my kids during my newborn session. I was stressed because my older son was whinging he was bored and wanted to draw, no trouble for Steph, off she went to get him some paper and texters. He had a million questions about everything and she answered them ALL with no frustration or annoyance in her tone at all. I also didn’t want to be in any photos because I believed I looked like rubbish. I mean I had just given birth, single mum, hair up in a messy Mum bun, shirt with baby vomit and whatever else on it, no makeup on, hadn’t slept in weeks. She insisted I just get in a few and if I don’t like them I don’t have to buy them. We put my hair down, she fixed it up for me around my face, and I had never felt so beautiful in my life when I saw those photos of me with my baby and then with both my babies. I was speechless. Gobsmacked. I brought every since photo I was in I’m pretty sure. She has a magic touch. I don’t know what it is but her vibe, everything is beyond words. I can’t describe her. Other than She’s a fairy. A magical fairy that can make any photo a magical memory for you.

Steph where do I even begin, you are one talented woman juggling a photo business and motherhood. Your expertise in photography is amazing. You were able to take brilliant photos of my newborn son and crazy 3 year old toddler. You even asked what newborn pose I’d like and I told you, you said it’s a tricky shot to get and we will try but it may not work, you persevered for quite some time. It may have not been the pose we were after but still gorgeous in every way. Your online website and gallery selection was so easy to navigate which made selecting images even easier, especially if your no good with computers. All I can say is WOW. When we were looking for a photographer for our son’s first birthday, my partner suggested a very niche theme. I responded that there’s no way we could find a photographer that would do that… and then we found Steph! She HANDMADE props, made a mock up setting MONTHS in advance to show us what it would look like, and even purchased a special head piece for our son to wear (that ended up being my favourite pics!). With years of experience as a child educator, she’s good with kids and her prices are fair. After a very long process trying to find a suitable photographer to do last minute Christmas photos, I found Missed Moments and the entire process was super easy and fuss free.
