We are just about finished building our new studio in Googong NSW (just outside Canberra), and like our previous spaces, our new studio space focuses on a relaxed & casual client experience, making your portrait session as stress-free as possible for the whole family.
I have lots of patience, understanding and experience with children including a special love for the inclusion of neurodiversity & special needs.
We shoot in Queanbeyan/Canberra, and sometimes return to Wagga.
We also specialise in holiday portrait sessions, including Easter, Halloween, & Christmas!

April is gentle, warm and caring. We always feel so welcome at her studio (her home) by herself and her beautiful daughters.
During our lastest photo shoot, my youngest wasn’t interested in his cake smash at all and just wanted to be held and breast-fed. April was extremely patient, allowed my son to feed when needed and tried multiple different strategies to get him engaged in the shoot. It all worked out in the end, but there was no rush. Which made this situation not stressful at all! We just sat there chatting.
We absolutely adore April and her Christmas cards (yes she posts out Christmas cards to her clients! Which I think is just super cool!)

April is a brilliant photographer who we highly recommend! We have our newborn shoot with her and she was amazing. We were late and stressed and travelling a long way with a new baby and she made us feel so welcomed and relax we couldn’t believe it. Our little girl made a mess in the studio as well and it was no hassle at all. She cleaned it up and we kept going. She is very organized and has the perfect set up with everything a new mum could need. I also needed to feed to calm out newborn and there was plenty of time allowed in these shoots. No pressure, no rush, just a happy and calm environment. We had ideas of our own and she was more than happy to try them out as well. April also did our daughters 1st birthday and again so calm and patient. Our daughter is very shy but April wasn’t over the top she waited for her to settle in and it was brilliant. If you’re looking for a photographer look no further… you’ve found a brilliant one here!!!

Fantastic! Can not recommend highly enough. We had christmas pictures done and they turned out so gorgeous! Even my husband was impressed, and he’s an amateur photographer himself. Not only were the photos gorgeous but April was so patient and helpful. She got us some beautiful family photos as well as fantastic ones of our daughter…and that would not have been easy, cause our almost 3yr old was never stopping! Even though our daughter kept throwing the baubles, nothing was a problem for April. We will definitely be coming back next year for some family pics.
