The thought of getting a new baby and toddler ready for family photos was enough to turn me off. I’m so glad I went through with it and chose to allow Jypsie from Glen-Lea Images to capture my family.
Amongst the chaos my partner had a freak accident hours earlier at work putting everything into an absolute spin. Jypsie was early and quick to reassure me that everything would work out in the end. She was understanding and so considerate. The patience she showed towards my toddler was impeccable. He’s a very shy reserved little man who’s very closed off from strangers but she had him climbing out of his shell within minutes. I asked for her to keep photos of my children off all forms of social media, no further questions were asked, and my request was respected. We had a sneak peak of our session within 24hrs and access to all of our images within a week. With an unpredictable newborn, a high energy toddler and an injured partner I really wasn’t holding high expectations but Jypsie blew our session clean out of the water and delivered images that I thought I could of only dreamt of. I will be forever grateful for the dedication she puts into her work and the way she encapsulated my boys so perfectly! Highly recommend!

Jypsie first photographed me in 2018 with my first born as a maternity shoot, with super adorable pricing, which I couldn’t have been able to get without that. I cherish those photos forever, she was wanting to do it for me as she is so generous.
Later on after the birth, Jypsie came to my family home for a “lifestyle shoot”, and made us so comfortable due to my partner being shy around the camera at that time. We moved throughout the home and were so happy with all the results more so because it was in our first home. Multiple memories.
After some years of being super busy, we later returned to Jypsie in 2023 for her advertised “Canola Mini’s”, I’m so glad we done this, especially with Jypsie being a mother herself. She was able to engage the children (twin two year olds, my 5 year old daughter, and my highly autistic step son), she made them laugh and kept them invested in the shoot by using different styles and techniques to capture the best shots. Jypsie was patient which I loved the most. She accommodated for my busy family of 6. Which later saw absolutely breath taking images to cherish for life.
Jypsie is the most affordable family oriented photographer, with compassion, kindness and generosity. As a mum herself, she understands the cost of living right now, and owning and managing a small business, she communicated additional images would be of an additional cost, then out of the gold in her heart, she opened the gallery for myself and my family and it truly put me in awe with her.
Since the very first time, we have clicked as client and photographer, due to me wanting to just do as I’m advised in a shoot. I’m not the most photogenic yet she enabled me to feel incredibly happy and confident. She had recommendations and we followed in order to capture the most incredible life long memories.
Thank you Jypsie. We shall return and watch this family grow. I truly hope I can have you as my wedding photographer in the years to come. Keep on doing what you do best.
