Jasmine Skye Photography was established in 2012 and based in Perth, Western Australia.
An invitation to see yourself as ART. Jasmine specialises in underwater portrait photography and is now teaching underwater photography to other photographers! These sessions are for adventurous humans who want to create art, and be open to play!
Jasmine is also a mum, paediatric nurse, dancing Kizomba and is the proud owner of 3 chickens named Luna, Lucy & Hay-Hay and a cute puppy named Sasha.

We had the absolute pleasure of having Jasmine as our wedding photographer last month and I could not have been happier with the entire experience! My husband and I have always felt uncomfortable in front of cameras, but Jasmine’s friendly and outgoing nature (and helpful posing tips) meant that we felt far more comfortable than I ever could have imagined in no time at all. She was also immensely helpful at ensuring things got done to our timeline and making sure we got the group photos we wanted before jumping into candid mode for the bulk of the reception. I am delighted to review Jasmine Skye Photography! I’ve never liked being photographed because the photos never looked how I saw myself. As well, I don’t like posing. I gave up even looking for someone to take my photos and I tried taking my own, both of myself and my artwork. I got more authenticity this way, of course, but there was a real lack of professional quality. This was important because I needed excellent quality photos for re-designing my website. I didn’t know how to fine tune my SLR, and I didn’t have the time actually, or know how to harness the beauty of natural light, which is what I prefer. I came across Jasmine’s page on Instagram and her photos had the qualities I had been trying to get on my own. In particular, her underwater photos astounded me…in terms of light, color, silhouette and authenticity! I decided to take the plunge, ha, and booked a session. The word amazing describes the whole experience from start to finish. Jasmine wasn’t only able to get all the shots I needed and wanted, but she was able to capture the images that existed only in my imagination, but with so much more magic and beauty that I didn’t know was possible!! She listened beyond what I had described and took the chance and used her own artistic instincts, and the results were amazing to say the least. Wow is not something any artist will ever achieve until she or he can trust their instincts and take the chance! My partner and I feel like we are not photogenic whatsoever. I have never ever been so comfortable around someone led alone even getting down to bra and underwear but I did it, all thanks to Jasmine and the incredible environment she creates. It is the first time I’ve actually felt like a photographer isn’t in my face. My partner never ever gets in a photos, BUT Jasmine changed this. He got photos done at the newborn shoot after seeing my maternity photos and being blown away with how natural and comfortable I looked. Most importantly for me and I am going to selfish about this. I stumbled across Jasmine when looking for a newborn photographer for my first daughter back in 2015. I never thought I’d want maternity photos but her “watch me grow” package sounded great so we decided to go for it. I now have 6 beautiful canvas prints from the sessions with my both of daughters (maternity, newborn and 1 year old). Jasmine was calm and patient with both girls who were almost impossible to get to sleep for their sessions but we got there eventually. I especially love my underwater photographs as it really embodies my passion for the ocean and the artistic rather than portrait style of photography that I prefer.
