Almost all sessions take place in Brittany’s natural light home studio, with clients travelling to her from all over Melbourne & Victoria.

MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHY
Maternity Photography sessions are available for families wishing to return to Something Meaningful for newborn photography after the birth of their child(ren). These sessions are styled to tell your story of pregnancy and new life. Maternity Sessions are best done between 30-37 weeks, in your favourite outdoor location (weather permitting) or in Brittany’s comfortable home studio.
NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY
Newborn photography is all about those precious first days while babies are sleepy & tiny, and is best done within the first 6 – 10 of life. However, newborn sessions can be held for babies up to 4 weeks old. Tentative bookings are usually made based on expected due dates – Brittany sets aside time each week to allow for the inevitable unpredictability of these new arrivals.
BABY PHOTOGRAPHY
Baby photography is about capturing the innate spark of personality and the developmental milestones emerging in that ever changing first year, as well as the special connections forging between parents and siblings. Baby Sessions are held Tues – Sat and are scheduled around baby’s nap time.
CAKE SMASH PHOTOGRAPHY
Celebrate this special milestone by capturing gorgeous portraits full of personality! Usually held around baby’s first birthday, Cake smash sessions are fast paced, messy and lots of fun, we capture your babe on a simple white setup (no themes or crazy distractions) smashing cake & in the tub cleaning up afterwards, as well as the special connections between parents and siblings.
FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHY
My family sessions are based around fun & play, there wont be a lot of standing around smiling at the camera – lots of cuddling, tickling and generally having a good time! Family sessions can take place in the studio or outdoors on location; you can get ideas here.

I remember speaking with britt the first time while booking out newborn shoot. I must say I was one of those people who were skeptical abo it newborn and child shoots.
But as soon as we came for Melodie’s first newborn shoot all our worries faded. Her warm and caring nature filled the room as well as including our first daughters ashes into the shoot which is something that we cherish. My husband who is very shy and quiet at first felt so at home and was cracking jokes during the session.
We have since been to a 3 other mini sessions that will make sure we do not miss!

Brittany did such a wonderful job with our newborn session. We felt welcome and comfortable from the minute we met. The studio was beautiful and nice and warm for our 18 day old baby.
Brittany was very calm and relaxed during the session even though our baby was sooky pretty much the whole time. She ran the session very professional and had a natural way to help calm an unsettled baby to still manage to get great images.
The viewing session was fun, albeit difficult to choose, but Brittany also helped with grouping the images in a way to pick out the best. We couldn’t decide between the last 2 images so she gave them both to us at no extra cost.
Would definitely recommend!

We booked Britt for both a maternity and newborn shoot, and we knew it wouldn’t be the easiest task. We were welcoming in our 4th and final baby, with siblings aged 5, 4, and 1. She did wonderfully. From the moment we met she did a fantastic job of making all of us feel incredible welcome and comfortable. Our maternity shoot was at the beach and our newborn shoot was in her studio. The photos are just gorgeous. She even had to edit in our 1 year old into the group sibling shot because he didnt feel like participating, and she did such a wonderful job of it we purchased the largest print we could of it, and now have it framed above our fireplace. We purchased 6 prints in total, as well as an album, and they have transformed our house into a home. I really couldn’t recommend Britt enough. She is patient, kind, hard working, and efficient, but probably most importantly of all, she takes beautiful photos.

We can honestly say that we are so glad to have found Brit. Brit is warm, welcoming, personable and made us feel comfortable from the moment we walked in.
