Hi. I’m Lisa. I’m the owner and Head Baby Whisperer at Adelaide Newborn Photography. I would love to share my love of photography with you and your family. It would be my pleasure to capture your precious moments, memories that you’ll cherish forever. Creating affordable photographic memories for you and your family to adore.
I am an expert baby whisperer (newborn and family photographer), who specialises in photographing newborns, babies, maternity and family. Photography is my passion and I have ensure and taken the time to get specialist training from top newborn photographers like Lorna Kirkby, and attend world class events like The Baby Summit (a specialist newborn and family photographer conference hosted by Kelly Brown) and online Newborn Retreats. So I am up to date with current safe ways of posing newborns, and how to create composites for those images where it’s much safer for baby to be posed separately. I am fully immunised (for the flu, whooping cough and for Covid19) as required to be around new babies and children, and I have completed a first aid “Caring for kids” course as well as being Academy of Newborn Photography Accredited.
Accredited professional photographer (APP) with the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP). I am a fully insured business. I have DECS government clearance to work with babies and children as well as a current SA police check and am fully vaccinated.
Most importantly I have now been photographing newborns and families for the last 12 years, and am not going to disappear into the night anytime soon as there are way too many gorgeous babies arriving earthside daily that need to have their first portraits captured.

We received our photos from Lisa and are so happy with them. Having a photoshoot especially with a newborn baby can be extremely stressful but with Lisa it was such an enjoyable experience. She took over all the details such as the outfits (including outfits for Mum), props and the background and all we had to do was watch and enjoy our beautiful baby girl’s being captured.
She is super gentle and patient with the baby and we did not have to worry about a thing. The communication throughout the whole process has been excellent. She is professional and super efficient with the way she works.

Coming up 2 years ago, Lisa made the experience for my newborn shoot a delight. She was enthusiastic and brought lots of ideas to the shoot. We first met Lisa in 2018 when she took some maternity and newborn photographs when our daughter arrived.
Lisa makes you feel at ease in front of the camera and her attention to detail is exceptional. We were so impressed with our photos, we didn’t hesitate to contact her and book her services again when we were expecting our son.
We’d planned to have our family maternity photos taken at the beach but the weather gods were not in our favour.
Lisa suggested the Botanic Gardens as a back up and she was very flexible and understanding with the change of plans.
Lisa is easy going and made our daughter feel included and special in the photo shoots.
She has some amazing dresses in her collection to make use of during the shoot to make you feel extra special. I loved dressing up!

We’ve now had three sessions with Lisa and couldn’t recommend her enough! From our first session in early 2019 to now Lisa work just keeps getting better. Lisa came highly recommended to us and it’s not hard to see why! The whole process is simple and the end products are perfection. Lisa manages to not only take stunning photos of your baby, she also makes sure she gets the little details as well (such as their tiny hands and feet). Lisa is so wonderful to work with and manages to make my husband who hates photos comfortable in front of the camera whilst also keeping up with our energetic toddler. She is also a baby whisperer and is so knowledgeable when it comes to little tips and tricks. I couldn’t imagine having any one else capture such special moments of our children.

The dresses are so beautiful it really made my photos that little bit more special. Her knowledge of how to get the right shots and her editing skills are on point. We used Lisa at Adelaide newborn photography for our maternity photos and our newborn photos. Having photos taken of us was sooo far out of our comfort zone as we have never done anything like it before. Lisa made us feel so comfortable and safe and just made us laugh all day. The maternity shoot was so great! Lisa also sent through a well wishes personal message on the day of our induction which was a lovely personal touch. After our beautiful boy arrived we had our newborn photos and Lisa was absolutely amazing! The passion she has for babies and photography is just amazing!
