With over 10 year’s experience as a Professional Photographer, you can not only be assured that you are going to receive stunning images of your family, but you are also going to have a beautiful experience during your photo shoot. I honestly love what I do and with the help of my amazing and loyal clients over the years, I have worked extremely hard to build a reputation as one of the most trusted newborn photographers in the Toowoomba region.
My private home studio is located in a quiet little street in the Toowoomba suburb of Harristown. It’s a sweet cosy little space set up with the highest quality props to use for your baby’s first photo shoot. The experience for you will be that of no stress!!! Once you have fed your baby, I will do the rest. We allow ample time for feeding and settling of babies, nothing is rushed or pushed. Your baby is 100% the boss on the day -aren’t they always the boss!? No pressure is placed on you or your family, all you need to do is relax and enjoy this special time with your family. With my many years of experience photographing newborns, and as a qualified member of the academy of newborn photography, your baby will always be in safe hands with me. And baby poop? No problems! Ive dealt with my fair share of poop accidents over the years, its all part of the job!
Newborns are my speciality, Ive photographed hundreds of local Toowoomba babies over the past decade, that’s a lot of teeny tiny newborn toes photographed!!!! I also love to photograph sitting babies from 6 months old and welcoming you into my Toowoomba based home studio while you are still pregnant for your maternity shoot.
Now a bit about me. I’m a Mum to 2 awesome tween/teen kids, 2 fluffy puppies, and a sassy cat. My family is my life. We love chilling at home on the weekends or exploring our cool little city of Toowoomba. The Beautiful Queen’s Park in Toowoomba is one of our favourite places in the area. We love taking our dogs to the dog park, picnics in the botanical gardens, exploring the Toowoomba Farmers Markets, or just letting loose on the playground on Margaret Street. Seriously how good is it living in Toowoomba? It may sound weird to say this, but I actually love the cooler Toowoomba climate! And it also makes it perfect to heat up the studio nice and warm for snuggly newborn cuddles! I’m naturally a quiet and calm soul – newborns help with the zen 😉

NEWBORN – Newborn Photography Shoots, Toowoomba Studio
Newborn sessions are best held around 1-3 weeks after your baby is born, while they are still nice and sleepy and able to curl up into the super cute newborn poses. However, beautiful photos of your baby can be captured at any age, so don’t stress if you have missed out during those first few weeks. Family and sibling photos are also included. All props are provided with a beautiful range of rich natural earthy colours and textures and traditional pinks and blues to compliment any baby.
The best time to book your newborn shoot is while you are still pregnant. Your due date is pencilled in, then once baby is born your session will be booked for the first few weeks after birth. I will also do my best to fit it last minute bookings, so don’t hesitate to contact me if you have left it until after baby has been born to book.
A full welcome guide will be sent to you upon booking, and there are lots of helpful FAQ’s over on the website. I will also help guide you with what to wear and what to bring for your session. Your photo shoot will be super relaxed, no pressure is put on you or your baby, its all about capturing that loving connection within your family and those tiny newborn details! Your baby is the boss on the day and plenty of time is allowed to make sure everyone is comfortable and relaxed. If baby needs extra feeds and cuddles on the day, that is what we will do.
MATERNITY – Maternity Photography Shoots, Toowoomba Studio
Maternity sessions with you and your partner and any older siblings, are best held around 32-36 weeks. Its all about capturing that connection and anticipation of your new arrival. Professional make up can also be included as part of your shoot, to make you feel really special. A large range of high quality gowns and accessories are also available in the studio for you to wear during your shoot.
Shoots are available by appointment only held at Sarah’s cosy and private home studio in Toowoomba, making the experience comfortable and enjoyable and leaving you with beautiful photos of your family to treasure forever. The studio is within close walking distance of one of Toowoomba’s beautiful parks, which is great to take busy toddlers after they have been photographed.
OLDER BABIES – Baby Photography Shoots , Toowoomba Studio
After the sleepy newborn stage, the next milestone to capture is from around 6 months of age when babies can sit up confidently on their own. This is such a fun age to capture, as little personalities start to shine with lots of cute smiles and cheeky expressions. These are offered as mini shoots, but your whole family can also be added in the session. Discounts are also offered to past newborn clients.

I was very anxious about my 2 week old being unsettled when we went to get some newborn photos and that we wouldn’t be able to get any decent photos. Sarah was nothing short of amazing! She took the time to make sure our son was relaxed throughout the entire shoot and got some AMAZING photos that we absolutely adore. If we have a second baby, I will not even think about asking anyone else to photograph out little bundle. Sarah is a true professional who is knowledgeable and patient.
