7 years ago Amanda showed us such great customer service by squeezing our newborn in on a Sunday to ensure we didn’t miss the opportunity to have our newborn photographed. We have continued to use Amanda with all our following children and she has always accommodated us. If I was to write in detail how much accommodating she has done for my family alone it would be a short story. Amanda has been so wonderful with my family as we live over an hour away from her, we’ve had booking dates changed many times and Amanda has always been so flexible. My partner couldn’t come to the newborn session due to work so she let us come back a couple days later to ensure we get some newborn family shots!

Amanda has been so accommodating, she is patient and gentle with our son and takes the time to ensure she gets many perfect shots! Recently had another session booked with Amanda for my daughter’s sister session. Amanda was so patient, comforting and amazing at what she does. My daughter was quite upset during her session only because Amanda was a new face, Amanda accommodated to my daughters emotions, to make her feel comfortable. My daughter was quite emotional, i was sure Amanda would only get pictures of her being sad, whilst i am sweating and apologising for my daughter. Amanda assured me not all sitter sessions go to plan. Then i received the gallery and what a surprise there are beautiful photos of my little 8 month old, who was not sad in any of the photos. Our little one then arrived 3 weeks early so we needed our pictures taken earlier than planned. Amanda was happy to work with us to book a time. Not only did we get the most amazing Christmas photos, while chatting to us Amanda found out that our newborn photographer hadn’t been able to get some photos we wanted due to Lucas being unsettled on the day so she spent extra time with us to capture these and the gave them to us free of charge! Amanda has also since done some family photos for our extended family a s they were also great. Highly recommended.

Amanda is an amazing photographer that went above and beyond to help us get beautiful images of our boy during this covid period, guiding us through taking photos she later edited so that we could have some when he was still little and then completing further photos once restrictions were eased and he was able to be photographed in the studio. Newborn shots with an almost 10week old baby is not an easy task and she made this look easy and we have the most beautiful photos from this. Would highly recommend and we can’t wait to get our family photos.

I had first heard of Smik Pix after seeing a friends beautiful baby photos that were taken by Amanda. I just knew I had to go through Smik Pix for my baby after seeing these beautiful pictures. I had booked the smik pix package which included a complimentary maternity photo shoot. My husband and I felt very comfortable with Amanda and Brownyn walking us through the photos so that they came out beautifully. Once our baby was here, Amanda quickly organised a date for our little one and gave us plenty of options for colours, themes and what we would like. We felt like we had plenty of control and choices for our babies first photos. Both Amanda and Brownyn also made sure that our son was calm, safe and comfortable throughout the shoot so that we got the best photos possible.
