Hi, I’m jina.
My number one super power is that I can make kids laugh! I play games and make farty noises and even the shy kids can’t resist my silliness. I never ask a child to ‘look at me and smile’. I don’t have to! A photo session with me is just like a fun play date, often when we’re done, the little one would ask: when do we have to start taking pictures?
My number two super power is that I’m REALLY GOOD at taking pictures. Don’t just take my word for it! I am fully accredited with AIPP (Australian Institute of Professional Photography). I have won a number of photography awards over the years, and have recently been awarded the AIPP 2019 Family Photographer of the Year Finalist. Check out my ABOUT page to see more. P.s. My studio is located in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, (Forest Hill to be exact), but I’m happy to travel as long as it’s not too far. Come and book a session with me, it’ll be just like a play date!

I had my third photography session in 5 years with Jina recently with my 2 kids. She is always very professional, takes amazing photos and has a knack for getting everyone to relax. The hardest part is deciding which photos to select – there’s so many beautiful photos to chose from! I first saw Jina’s photos when she captured my daughter’s smile and expression so naturally at Gymbaroo. I was impressed at the way she took lovely photos in a challenging environment without the lighting of a studio with my daughter in action on the play equipment.. The price and photo package options are very reasonable as well. I would highly recommend Jina and am grateful to have such beautiful photos capturing my kids at different ages.

I first realised Jina’s talent when I saw the photos she produced of my daughter at Gymbaroo. Every one of them was precious and framable. I didn’t think that was possible in such a busy atmosphere with my daughter climbing and running around. I have since booked private sessions with her twice over the years and again, we’ve loved *every* photo she offered. Her skill is not only in her eye for framing, lighting, and posing as any photographer can; it is also in her ability to get the kids to act and smile naturally and then capture that gleam in their eyes. Her sessions are at once professional and fun, enjoyable and efficient. It’s no wonder she has been winning awards! I hope she continues to be recognised for her hard work and stunning results.
