I’m professionally trained and specialise in maternity, newborn, and baby photography.
I capture the natural beauty and innocence of your baby and the connection and love between your family.
My newborn photography style is natural, simple, and timeless, achieved by not over-complicating the image with unnecessary and distracting props and colours.
I am fully immunised for childhood diseases (including whooping cough), COVID-19 + Booster and Influenza.
With over 8 years’ experience, I am multi-award winning and recognised as one of Brisbane’s best baby photographers.

Jess was recommended by my cousin and I am so glad we managed to book in with her for our baby boy’s photoshoot. Jess made us feel calm and relaxed which we needed as we were first time parents to a 2 week old baby at the time! She gave us many options for the shoot but was also completely happy to lead us through decisions as we didn’t have much idea what we were after. She clearly had a vision of what we would like based on information on our tastes, etc that we had given her prior, and she chose beautiful fabrics and minimal props so that the star of the photos was our little bub. We were very happy with her choices. She beautifully captured the tiny details of our baby and we loved the finished photos so much that we got framed art for our walls at home as well as the brag books for the grandparents. Jess captured beautiful photos of our newborn son and the whole experience was absolutely fantastic! During our session she was very flexible and was more than happy to work around normal feeding times, and made us feel at ease. She only books one session per day, so you dont feel rushed or stressed. The studio was well set up, with an adjacent room for parents to relax in / feed etc, with tea/coffee and a treat. Jess was very friendly and responsive the entire process, from booking to providing digital images & prints. We absolutely loved all of our photos and also purchased the timber print box, which is of a very high quality. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending Jess to anyone wanting newborn photos.

We have used Jessica for both of our boys newborn shoots. She is so professional and makes everything so stress free and it is also an enjoyable experience for all members of the family even older siblings too. Jess has a beautiful home studio and sets you up in a room where you can feed and change your baby and even keep the older kids occupied with toys. You are the only person booked on the day, which means there is no rushing you in and out. Time and care are taken to make sure you get your moneys worth and get the best shots possible. Jess always takes good care when handling the new born and setting the shot up. The room is always warm and the white noise is always playing which makes baby comfortable and relaxed as well. Jess even lets older siblings get involved in the shoots and has lots of fun with them as well to make them feel a part of the day. The finished products are absolutely stunning and some of the best photos you could possibly want to capture that special moment. Many of Jess’ prints take pride of place in our home and in our relatives homes as well. You will not be disappointed and you too will recommend Jess to all of your friends and family as we have done. She is by far the best in Brisbane.
